I still don't have a job, but I did just get through for an internship position I was trying out for. I'm so happy that at least I'll have something to get me out of the house on a regular basis.

So when pirate_squid came home today, she brought home a special gift for me from robocluck. It was a belated birthday gift, and yeah, my birthday was like a month and a half ago, but this gift was awesome enough to make if feel like it was today.


I seriously love this! Thank you so much robocluck!! I will treasure it always. *single tear*

But to make the day even better wulfae also gave me her and pirate_squid's gifts.


So awesome! Now I need a VCR. Three of some of my favourite Nickelodeon shows, while growing up (Nickelodeon was pretty much a staple of my cartoon diet). It's funny, because Aaahh!!! Real Monsters was on my mind like two days ago, and then BOOM, they get these.

All in all, today was a pretty awesome day.

So in the last week, water's seeped into my bedroom, our bathroom's flooded, and I'm waiting for our landlord to do ANYTHING about the issues. Every time he's supposed to show up and look at something he doesn't come or he sends someone else. Someone was supposed to come yesterday, and surprise surprise, they didn't show. Now they're supposed to come today, before 2. Let's see if that actually happens.

I really want the place checked out properly. I'm really afraid of mould growing, and making me sick. I've already had one bad scare, with something that may have been mould, not to mention, I could have electrocuted myself. Oh yeah, when the water came in to my bedroom, my powerbar was sitting comfortably in a puddle of it. I only noticed the water when I leaned over my bed to plug in my computer.

Argh! So frustrated...

So I did buy a bike, last week and I picked it up on Saturday. However due to things like meeting up with friends and excessive rain, I wasn't able to really try riding it until yesterday.

I'm really happy that I got it, although I really have to figure out how to adjust the seat, just ask wulfae. It's crazy! It's like, no matter which way we tried to turn the bolt, it seemed to tighten! Whatever, I'll figure it out eventually, I suppose.

So the other day, the TV was on APTN and I was listening to the news. They started talking about a documentary that followed the lives of three native women after having been released from prison. The funny thing was that two of them were named Bernice and Iris.

I lol-ed.

So yeah, I can't do all-nighters.

I went to bed at 3 last night, intend to sleep for an hour and a half. After that time had passed I woke up even more tired than before. I kept laying in bed have telling myself to stay there and half telling myself to get up and do WORK!!! After struggling internally with myself for like half an hour, I eventually panicked myself into a calm, as weird as that sounds. I came to the conclusion that I would just get some sleep and hand my shit in whenever I get it done.

So I'm awake now. I guess I should get back to work... *sigh*

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

I'm really happy about the gift I gave my mom. I just bought her a perfume set since I knew that at least she'd use it. Well, it just so happened, that we were talking a few days before Christmas, and she started saying that she was trying to buy some more of that particular perfume and couldn't find any, not even a set. So when she got mine today I knew it was exactly what she wanted, so YAY!!!

Well looks like I'm in for at least one more semester. Grades are lookin' good!

The first time I watched Wall-e I kept thinking about this show I used to watch when I was little, and I finally found it! It was called Jump, Rattle and Roll! All I really remember was this kid having a robot in his basement. Enjoy?

So I've been home for all of half an hour and I don't know how the hell I'm going to last all 4 weeks! My grandmother loves the church channels and has the TV on to some guy preaching. He seems to think that if he yells things loud enough, it makes them true! I have a feeling that this will be happening a lot. I'm not looking forward to this.

Maybe I should try and put a positive spin on this. Perhaps it will teach me patience. I know a lot of bible thumping will be headed my way over the next month, so I can only learn to put up with it.
